On Friday the 13th, September 2024, the NCBS Barrel Selection Team had an unforgettable morning at the Heaven Hill Rickhouse. With its breathtaking floor-to-ceiling windows on one corner, the atmosphere was as iconic as the barrels we sampled. There’s just something magical about a crew of eight pulling barrel-proof Elijah Craig straight from the source and savoring every drop.
Adding to the fun, this barrel pick had a Blues Brothers theme, perfectly captured in the sticker design—a nod to the smooth yet bold character of Elijah Craig Barrel Proof. The folks at Heaven Hill are always top-notch, and we can't wait to return for another legendary selection. Friday the 13th never felt so lucky! #Cheers!
